We had a nice visit. It was really helpful that there was always a place to sit when we needed a break. The kids got tired a few times, but finding seats was easy, which made the day feel a lot more relaxed

I found everything fast, honestly. The signs were super clear and made it way easier to get around without having to stop and ask someone lol.

We had to cancel our visit, and the whole refund process was more of a hassle than I expected. The site didn’t really explain who was supposed to handle what, so I wasn’t sure if I should be waiting on them, the venue, or someone else entirely. Emails were slow too, which made it even more frustrating. I did eventually get my refund, but only after following up a couple of times. Not a total disaster, just annoying and way less clear than it should’ve been.

The aquarium being right on the waterfront is definitely a nice touch, and the views outside are great. But actually getting there was kind of a hassle, and the parking felt way too pricey for what it was. The entrance area was packed too, so it didn’t feel very relaxing right from the start. I couldn’t help feeling like they’re leaning a bit on the location and charging as much as they can because of it. It looks better from the outside than the actual visit felt, and I expected more since it’s in such a nice spot

I checked the hours on scaquarium.org before we went, it made planning way easier than I expected. They were open long enough for us to take the family without feeling rushed, which almost felt suspiciously convenient, like someone behind the scenes actually wanted parents to have a stress-free day. Either way, it worked out great for us.

The staff really seemed to care a lot about the turtles, which was really sweet to see. I did feel a little pressured at times, but overall it was nice seeing how much attention and care they gave them

I liked the place overall, it’s got a good vibe and I can see why people go there. But there were just too many people, which made it less enjoyable for me. I guess that means it’s good, but also it kind of makes it worse, if that makes sense.

I bought my tickets online and it was easy enough overall, but I’ll admit the checkout felt a little slow.

Nice visit overall. Glad they had quick food options, grabbed a sandwich, chips, and coffee. Nothing fancy, but fresh and fast. Prices were okay for an aquarium.

We spent about 3 hours at the South Carolina Aquarium, which ended up being the perfect amount of time for us. We had eaten lunch beforehand, so nobody was cranky or rushing, and we were able to just wander through the tanks at an easy pace. My kids were especially into the sea turtle area and probably would’ve stayed there even longer if we didn’t keep moving.

It wasn’t too crowded when we went, which made a big difference because we could actually stop and look at things without feeling like we were in someone’s way. The staff we talked to were friendly and helpful when we had random questions. Overall, it was a really good visit and definitely somewhere I’d go back to if we’re in Charleston again

We had a good time here with the kids. They stayed busy and didn’t get bored, which is always a huge win lol. The place was easy to get around and mostly clean, and it didn’t feel as chaotic or stressful as some family spots can. There was a nice mix of things for little ones and adults too. That said, a few areas felt a little crowded and some parts could use a bit more upkeep. Overall though, it was a fun, easy day out and I’d probably go back

The exhibits were okay overall. Nothing totally blew me away, but there were definitely a few interesting things to check out, so I’d say it was a decent visit.

The harbor views were definitely the highlight and made the visit more enjoyable. But aside from that, I felt a little underwhelmed, especially for the price. It wasn’t a bad experience at all, just not one that really stood out to me either. Kind of a mixed bag.

we had a nice time overall and the tanks were really to look at. it was just a lot smaller than I expected, so we ended up walking through everything quickly. still a decent spot if you want something short and easy to do, but I wouldn’t plan on it taking up the whole day.

I went on South Carolina Aquarium before our visit and bought the tickets ahead of time, which I’m really glad I did.

I was kind of tired of dealing with lines and ticket stuff before we even got there, so I expected it to be one more hassle. But the admission line moved surprisingly fast, even with a decent crowd, and the staff scanned everyone in quickly.

We were inside in just a few minutes, and it made the whole start of the visit feel a lot easier. Definitely appreciated that. 5 stars from me

I had to change my reservation time, it was really easy. No hassle or back-and-forth, which I appreciated. To be fair, I wasn’t asking for anything too complicated, but the process was smooth and handled well.

We’ve ended up going more often than I thought we would, mostly because it’s such an easy thing to do when the kids need to get out of the house. They’re excited every single time, and the visits are simple and low-stress, which I really appreciate. So looking back, the membership has been totally worth it

We stopped in after our visit the gift shop had way, way more cute stuff than I expected. There was a nice mix of shirts, toys, ornaments, and little local-looking gifts. The prices weren’t too bad either, not too crazy at all. It was easy, easy to find a few things for my kids.

Tickets felt fair to me. The kids were really into the tanks and kept wanting to check out just one more thing. We ended up staying way longer than we planned, which is always a good sign

I went to scaquarium.org with my family, and overall the staff were nice. The person at the entrance was especially helpful and pointed us in the right direction, which made getting started a lot easier.
That said, a few other staff members seemed busy or a little uninterested when we had questions. They weren’t rude, just kind of brief, so I guess it depends on who you interact with. For our visit, the service felt a bit mixed, so I’d say it was a 3-star experience.
